DAY 1: PUNO - SILLUSTANI

  • Transfer from the terminal to the chosen hotel
  • Excursion to the Chullpas de Sillustani archaeological complex, which is located on the shores of the Umayo lagoon. It is famous for its chullpas, which are circular stone towers, built to house the funerary remains of the main authorities of the ancient inhabitants of Collao. Some reach up to 12 meters in height and are characterized by the fact that their base is smaller than the top. 
  • Return to the city of Puno

DAY 2: UROS – AMANTANI

  • Breakfast
  • Transfer to the lake port.
  • Departure by motorized boat, after 45 minutes of travel we will arrive at the floating islands of the Uros, a group of floating islands formed based on Totora, which are inhabited by the Uros, settlers who descend from one of the oldest cultures in America. . The main ones are visited for a period of 40 to 50 minutes where we can appreciate their lifestyle and their daily activities such as weaving and dissecting animals.
  • Departure with motor boat to the Amantani Islands 
  • Lunch at a local family home
  • 01 hour walk to the highest point of the island: Pachamama temple and Pachatata temple.
  • Return and Dinner at the family home.

DAY 3: TAQUILE

  • Breakfast with the Families 
  • Motorboat departure from Puerto AMANTANI to TAQUILE
  • Visit to the island of TAQUILE for 3 hours approx.
  • Lunch in TAQUILE (optional)
  • Departure from Taquile to PUNO
  • Arrival in Puno and transfer to the city center.

DAY 4: FULL DAY BOLIVIAN SIDE

  • Pick up from the hotel
  • We will take the bus from Puno to Copacabana
  • We go through migrations
  • We arrived at Copacabana

  • Return to COPACABANA

  • Arrival to PUNO and transfer to hotels.

DAY 5; CIRCUIT – TITICACA CASTLE

  • Pick up from hotels in the city center and then head towards Chucuito known as the city of the royal boxes.
  • Upon arrival at the site we will visit the Inca Uyo or fertility temple where we will have a detailed explanation from our guide about the astronomical observatory, the stone windows and the sacrificial stone. In the place we can take all the photos we want.
  • Then we will visit the Plaza de Armas de Chucuito, where we can see that they still preserve their colonial architecture. We will visit the Dominican churches and the viewpoints that allow us to have an impressive view of Lake Titicaca.
  • Finally we will have free time to taste some typical food of the place and then we start our way back to the city.
  • Arrival in Puno and transfer to the city center.
  • At the indicated time, transfer to the bus terminal to return to the city of Lima.
