Transfer from the Bariloche Airport to the accommodation in El Bolsón.
After breakfast we will start the Rio Azul circuit, leaving from El Bolsón along route 40 towards Mallín Ahogado. Then, in the Escondida Waterfall Nature Reserve, through an easy walk, we will reach the bottom of the canyon where the waterfall culminates. After touring the coast of Río Azul where we will make 2 stops to contemplate and refresh ourselves a bit, we cross the Loma del Medio by vehicle. Between it and the Cordillera, we will be able to observe the Río Azul, Cerro Tres Picos and Lago Puelo from a viewpoint. Finally, we head towards the Cabeza del Indio Reserve, and we will ascend to an incredible work of a human profile, sculpted by nature in the rock walls. After breakfast we will visit El Bosque Tallado, panoramic points at 1,400 meters above sea level with a view of the Andes Mountains, from the center of El Bolsón, we travel 2 km by vehicle. asphalt to the south and 11 km. On the slopes of Cerro Piltriquitrón along a gravel road that winds up the slope until it reaches “La Plataforma”. From there begins a path with a maximum inclination of 30º in some sections that can be covered in 40 minutes on foot until you reach the wonderful El Bosque Tallado. In addition to the incredible sculptures, you will be able to enjoy the best panoramic view of the area: the valley where El Bolsón sits, the hills of the Andes Mountains (among others the Tres Picos, Perito Moreno), Lake Puelo and the River Blue. In the afternoon we suggest sailing on Lake Puelo.
